Dr. Chima Matthew
Hello and welcome to Able Medical Group. I’m Dr. Chima Matthew, a board-certified pediatrician with an unwavering passion for caring for children. My name, Chima, means “God knows” — and I truly believe that being a pediatrician is my calling. There’s nothing more fulfilling to me than helping children feel better, making them smile, and partnering with families to nurture healthy, happy lives. My journey began in Nigeria, where I was born and raised until the age of 11. In 1997, my siblings and I immigrated to Michigan to join our mother, a woman whose sacrifices continue to inspire the way I serve families today. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and followed in my brother’s footsteps to attend Morehouse School of Medicine. I then completed my pediatric residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, where I had the honor of serving as Chief Resident and was named Northeast Florida Resident of the Year.
Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide range of pediatric settings — from clinics to hospitals to emergency rooms — but my greatest honor remains the simple, powerful joy of caring for children.
Jacksonville has become my home. It’s where my son, Chima Jordan, was born — now 11 years old and the light of my life. It’s also the community where I’ve built lifelong relationships with families and colleagues who share my belief that children are our greatest investment.
At Able Medical Group, we have created a concierge pediatric practice grounded in faith, family, and personal connection. By limiting the number of families I serve, I can provide truly individualized care — with extended visits, direct access, and an unwavering commitment to your child’s well-being.
I believe kids sense when someone genuinely sees and understands them. That’s the connection I strive for in every visit. It’s my honor to care for your children as if they were my own.

Dr. Benjamin Moser
Welcome! I’m Dr. Benjamin Moser, Director of Adult Medicine at Able Medical Group. As a proud Florida native, I grew up in suburban Orlando after moving from Atlanta, Georgia, and have long been committed to advancing health and wellness in our communities.
I graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 and went on to earn a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University in 2008. My early career was shaped at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where I spent three years conducting public health research before attending medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. After earning my medical degree in 2015, I completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at West Virginia University, where I had the honor of serving as chief resident.
My clinical journey brought me to the Jacksonville area, where I’ve practiced as an emergency physician and now lead our concierge approach to adult medicine at Able Medical Group. My wife, Carissa—my college sweetheart—and I chose Ponte Vedra Beach to raise our family, close to where she grew up.
Beyond clinical care, I serve as an adjunct assistant professor of Internal Medicine at West Virginia University and remain deeply involved in global health. Each year, I mentor students and residents during medical outreach in rural northeast Ghana. I also hold certification in Tropical Medicine and Traveler’s Health from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
When I’m not in the clinic, I’m fully immersed in family life—coaching my son’s soccer team, cheering on my daughters at dance and gymnastics, and spending one-on-one time with our youngest. I enjoy long-distance running, studying French, and exploring America’s national parks—Big Bend being a personal favorite. Whether it’s a quiet beach day, a great film, or simply reading at home, I value time with my wife and children above all else.
Thank you for placing your trust in me. I look forward to partnering with you on your health journey with the personalized, attentive care that defines Able Medical Group.
