Seriously, what can be said about Dr. Chima other than he is absolutely amazing—a true Godsend. As most parents know, when something goes wrong with your child, it almost always happens “after hours” or on the weekend, usually resulting in a trip to the emergency room. That’s exactly how we met Dr. Chima.

A few years ago, our son had stomach issues, and we took him to the ER. Dr. Chima was the pediatric doctor on duty that evening, and he took exceptional care of our boy. From the very beginning, there was something different about him—not just as a doctor, but as a person. He was caring, personable, funny, and incredibly comforting—not only to our son but to us as his parents. He listened carefully to our concerns and never made us feel rushed. I remember leaving the hospital and telling my husband, “He’s the kind of doctor I wish could be our son’s primary care physician.”

Over the years, we’ve had to make a few more visits to the ER, and each time we were fortunate enough to have Dr. Chima treating our son. A few months ago, our son received a diagnosis that, under normal circumstances, would have sent me into a panic. But before that could happen, Dr. Chima calmly explained everything in detail. He referred us to specialists for further evaluation, and thankfully, it turned out to be something that just needs monitoring. During that time, Dr. Chima continued to check in on us regularly. So, when we found out about Able Medical Group—and realized that we could have Dr. Chima as our son’s PCP—I immediately asked, “Where do I sign up?!” It truly takes a village to raise these babies, and knowing that we have Dr. Chima as a key part of our village—helping us raise our son in a healthy, both mentally and physically, environment—is an incredible blessing.”
